Preventing Accidents – The Human Factors

Venue: Lakes College West Cumbria (Room F 037) – Lillyhall, Workington

Date and time: Thursday 26 April 2007 at 7.00pm

Tea, coffee and biscuits served from 6.30 pm

Speaker: Dr Tony Hayes, TKJ Training Ltd

The talk will examine the cause of accidents with particular reference to intentional/unintentional unsafe behaviours and identify what can be done to prevent accidents caused by human errors (unintentional) and rule violations (intentional).
Whilst the main scope of the talk will be about the prevention of safety accidents, examples relevant to quality and environment will be included.

Tony provides training for companies to help them understand and then change common behavioural causes of accidents.
